Customer's benefit
The slewing crane with a jib made of GISKB aluminium profile impresses with the low dead weight of the jib arm and the minimal rolling resistance of the trolley used. Goods with a weight of up to 500 kg can be picked up quickly and safely, and the smooth-running jib allows them to be moved precisely and with minimal effort. This results in a significant reduction in throughput times, which has a positive effect on production costs and productivity.
The pillar-mounted slewing crane consists of a horizontal jib arm that can swing around the pillar and a vertical pillar that is attached to the floor, ceiling or concrete base for mobile use. In combination with a GIS electric chain hoist, a GIS vacuum handling system or another load handling device, you get the complete crane system from a single source.
A column-mounted slewing crane is typically used in workshops, factories or warehouses to move loads in the lower load range safely and efficiently from one place to another.
They are a cost-effective alternative to overhead cranes, not only when their use is not possible due to insufficient ceiling load capacity or too high a ceiling. Thanks to their long reach, slewing cranes are also ideal for applications in confined spaces where other lifting equipment, such as forklift trucks, cannot reach the goods to be transported.
