GIS AG, the Swiss manufacturer of electric chain hoists, is expanding its range with an additional, powerful special version of the GP2500 model. After the load capacity of the strong all-rounder was increased from 3,200 kg to 4,000 kg in the single fall version at the start of 2024, the load capacity has now also been significantly increased from 6,300 kg to 8,000 kg in the double fall execution. This is made possible by the special suspension system with an additional external attachment point for the chain end.

The special version of the GP2500 is available in a contactor-controlled version with lifting speeds of 0.8 / 3.2 m/min. This heavy-duty GIS chain hoist can be used stationary or in combination with the GMF5000 and GHF5000 trolleys, offering maximum flexibility for a wide range of lifting requirements in the high load area.
